Saadiyat Island Cultural District Footbridges

Project Manager and Supervising Engineer for the design of three footbridges in the new high-profile $27 billion Saadiyat development in Abu Dhabi, UAE, spanning over 10 square miles, for RMJM and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC). Managed a team of engineers and architects for the design of the unique footbridges in a context integrating architectural design with engineering design, using steel, ultra-high-performance fiber reinforced concrete, and structural glass, fitting within the complex site constraints. Coordinated with the client, wrote specifications, managed the budget, and supervised and assisted with the structural designs.
