2009-2012

Project Manager and Engineer of Record for the iconic 590-foot (180m) long St. Patrick’s pedestrian bridge composed of steel bow-string arches in Calgary, Canada, the result of an international design competition, with a project value of $25M, for the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.  Managed a multidisciplinary international team of 12 staff members and coordinated the client and international subconsultants from the competition phase through the completion of the construction documents and the tender process.  Assisted with writing and negotiating contracts with the client and subconsultants, managed the budget, supervised and assisted with the technical design, and wrote and assembled the technical and administrative specifications. Currently overseeing the construction.

The bridge officially opened on October 20, 2014.
