Structural Engineer for the rehabilitation of the Baker River Bridge, an historic concrete arch bridge constructed in 1916 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, for Skagit County Public Works, in Concrete, Washington State, USA. Performed inspection and soundings of entire bridge to assess condition. Developed three-dimensional computer model for seismic analysis, extensively incorporating finite elements into model. Assisted with cost estimating, design of repairs, and design of deck replacement. Created inspection report to document bridge condition and needed repairs.
