Lead Structural Engineer for the conceptual design of three bridge alternatives for the Meyers Road Bridge replacement for the Yakima County Public Works Department in Yakima, Washington State, USA. Each bridge alternative consisted of long-span precast concrete girders. Considered methods of removing existing concrete box girder bridge while minimizing environmental impacts. Created construction cost estimates of bridges and assisted with detailing of drawings and writing of report. Assisted with the 30 percent level final design of selected bridge alternative.
