Lead Structural Engineer for the conceptual design of three bridges for the Canyon Road East northerly extension for Pierce County Public Works, near Puyallup, Washington State, USA. Proposed and performed conceptual design of 370-ft (113m) long concrete tied arch bridge over the Puyallup River, modified as a “basket handle” bridge to enhance aesthetics and functionality. Performed oversight of proposals and conceptual design of two smaller girder bridges in project. Coordinated and assisted writing, detailing, and estimating for a type, size, and location report.
